9PM -12AM Prayer Watch of The Night
We thank you Lord to be able to come before your presence during this 9PM -12AM prayer watch of the night. Father, we long to be in your presence as we enter into this second watch of the night as we meditate and pray forth your word and your faithful promises to us.
Psalm 119:148
I stay awake through the night, thinking about your promise.
Understanding The Prayer Watches
During the second watch of the night in the prayer watches of the night 9PM – 12AM, is the time in which we are to exalt the name of the Lord. It is the special time for dreams and divine favor from God and man. This is the time to make your request known to the Lord as the angels ascend into heaven with prayer request and descend to earth with answers. It is during this prayer watch that you receive freedom from every limitation. The door is open for strength, ability, abundant supply and provision. This is the time for plundering your enemies.
Favor With God And Man
We read in the book of Exodus how God had given the Israelites favor with the Egyptians and provided them with everything they requested before they left Egypt. This occurred during the night after the Passover feast and before midnight because the Lord said He would send the angel of death to pass through Egypt at midnight.

When he came upon a certain place, he stopped there for the night, since the sun had already set. Taking one of the stones at the place, he put it under his head and lay down in that place. Then he had a dream: a stairway rested on the ground, with its top reaching to the heavens; and God’s angels were going up and down on it.
Exodus 3:21-22
And I will cause the Egyptians to look favorably on you. They will give you gifts when you go so you will not leave empty-handed. Every Israelite woman will ask for articles of silver and gold and fine clothing from her Egyptian neighbors and from the foreign women in their houses. You will dress your sons and daughters with these, stripping the Egyptians of their wealth.
Exodus 11:3-4
Now the Lord had caused the Egyptians to look favorably on the people of Israel. And Moses was considered a very great man in the land of Egypt, respected by Pharaoh’s officials and the Egyptian people alike. Moses had announced to Pharaoh, “This is what the Lord says: At midnight tonight I will pass through the heart of Egypt.”
Exodus 12:35-36And the people of Israel did as Moses had instructed; they asked the Egyptians for clothing and articles of silver and gold. The Lord caused the Egyptians to look favorably on the Israelites, and they gave the Israelites whatever they asked for. So they stripped the Egyptians of their wealth!
What To Pray For During The Prayer Watches of The Night 9PM – 12AM
Pray The Word of God
Jacob left Beersheba and went to Haran. The sun had already set when he came to a good place to spend the night. He took a rock there and laid his head on it to sleep. Jacob had a dream. He dreamed there was a ladder that was on the ground and reached up into heaven. He saw the angels of God going up and down the ladder.
Then Jesus went back to his followers [disciples] and found them asleep. He said to Peter, “You men could not stay awake [watch] with me for one hour? Stay awake [Keep watch] and pray for strength against temptation [or not to fail the test]. The spirit wants to do what is right [is willing], but the body [or human nature; the flesh] is weak.”
Get Ready To Move During This Prayer Watch

Go into seclusion for a while until the punishing wrath is past,
Because God is sure to come from his place to punish the wrong of the people on earth.

Exodus 12:11-13
These are your instructions for eating this meal: Be fully dressed, wear your sandals, and carry your walking stick in your hand. Eat the meal with urgency, for this is the Lord’s Passover. On that night I will pass through the land of Egypt and strike down every firstborn son and firstborn male animal in the land of Egypt. I will execute judgment against all the gods of Egypt, for I am the Lord! But the blood on your doorposts will serve as a sign, marking the houses where you are staying. When I see the blood, I will pass over you. This plague of death will not touch you when I strike the land of Egypt. Jesus said in His Word that He is the Door. It is through Jesus that we go through to find pasture and safety

I am the door. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.
Prayer For 9PM – 12 AM
Father In The Name of Jesus,
We thank you this evening for bringing us into the second watch of the night. We exalt You and lift Your name on high. You are worthy to be praised and worshiped. We thank you for your help and protection from the enemy. As we will look to You for your help, we proclaim that You are our great protector. You stand by our side both day and night to protect our souls from every danger.
We thank you for delivering us from every temptation, trial and tribulation that comes our way. As we speak the Word of God this evening, we give voice to your Word. As we give voice to Your Word, Your mighty warrior angels that excel in strength hear us and carry out Your commands. You are our faithful God that watches over your Word to perform it.
Jesus Is The Door
Father we know that you hear and will answer our prayers according to Your Word. Give us ears to hear your voice and hearts to obey You completely. Thank you for being our Passover Lamb Jesus. You are the Door by which we enter in and find rest for our weary souls. As we enter in the Door the blood on the doorpost signifies the blood that you shed on Calvary for us. We rejoice that we belong to You Jesus and that You are our Redeemer. It is through Your precious blood that we are sanctified and we draw near to the Father.
We Have Favor With God and Man
As we enter boldly into the Holy of Holies on this evening we ask you Father to bless us and favor us with divine transfer. As we prepare for deliverance Lord, give us favor with our enemies that we will not leave out empty handed. Fill our bags and purses with the treasures of the land. Whatever we ask for it shall be given unto us in this hour. We strip the enemy of all his wealth. We rejoice that the wealth of the sinner is stored up for those who are right with You God.
Thank you for Your prophetic dreams, open visions, divine revelation, wisdom and understanding during this watch. We thank you for the angels that are ascending into heaven with our prayers and descending onto earth with our answers. Just like Daniel, we know that you hear our prayers Father and we wait in faith for you to answer. Our faith is being sure we will get what we hope for. It is being sure of what we cannot see with our natural senses.
Our Senses Are Trained
Help us Lord to move past our natural senses and operate in our spiritual senses. Our senses are trained by practice to distinguish between what is morally good and what is evil. Give us mouths, that speak your Word and eyes that see Your revelation. Give us ears that hear Your truth and a nose that can smell the sweet aroma of sacrifice. Hands that handle the Word of Life skillfully. Grant me feet that run fast like a deer and tread on my high places. May my voice be lifted up to sing of the goodness and majesty of the Lord.
Help us Lord to not fall into temptation during this hour. Our spirit is willing to do what is right but our flesh is weak. Strengthen us Father to not be weary, but to press through in prayer and supplication. Thank you for Your joy because we know that the joy of the Lord is our strength. Your word says that You give power to the tired and worn out, and strength to the weak. Lord, You are my strength, my song, and my salvation. You are my God, and I will praise and exalt You forevermore!

A Final Word
This is the prayer watch for protection, strength, provision and urgency. This is the time to make sure we are girded up in our war clothes wearing our breastplate of righteousness, our belt of truth, helmet of salvation, shoes of peace, the shield of faith and the sword of the spirit in our hand ready to move out in urgency and war for the next watch of the night is fierce!
Ephesians 6:10-18
A Final Word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
Put On The Whole Armor of God
Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
