Children Come And Listen To Your Father
This is a wonderful passage that admonished sons and daughters to obey their parents in the Lord. In this division of Psalms, we hear the voice of a father speaking to his children. He is instructing them on how to live a long and Godly life. The same way we depend on the voice of our Heavenly Father to lead us and guide us, Fathers, you must speak into the lives of your children and direct them in paths of righteousness and truth.
Psalm 34:11-16
Children come and listen to me;
I will teach you to respect the Lord.
Do you want to enjoy life?
Do you want to have many happy days?
Then avoid saying anything hurtful, and never let a lie come out of your mouth.
Stop doing anything evil, and do good.
Look for peace, and do all you can to help people live peacefully.
The Lord watches over those who do what is right, and he hears their prayers.
But the Lord is against those who do evil, so they are forgotten soon after they die.
