God is coming to deliver the children! A few Saturday’s ago I was in my car on my way to a prayer breakfast. As I was praying in the spirit, I began to feel a weightiness in my heart for children. As I kept pressing in to the Spirit of God, I heard the Lord speak these words three times.

My heart was so grieved as He continued to speak and show me pictures of children bound, lost and crying. Children that had been aborted in the womb and their blood crying out. He said I hear the cries of the abused and neglected and I hear the cries of the abandoned. He said I see the ones in sex trades. My eyes are upon them. I even hear the cries of the babies who never got to see the light because they were aborted before their birth.
God Hears The Cries of Children
The Lord says “I hear the cries of all the children and I am coming to deliver.” When I heard the Lord speak these words, I was especially tuned into how He said it. He didn’t say “My Children”. He specifically said “The Children”. God has a heart and love for children and is concerned about the welfare and protection over the children. When I felt His heart on this matter, I was reminded of the story of Hagar and her son.

So Abraham got up early the next morning, prepared food and a container of water, and strapped them on Hagar’s shoulders. Then he sent her away with their son, and she wandered aimlessly in the wilderness of Beersheba.
When the water was gone, she put the boy in the shade of a bush. Then she went and sat down by herself about a hundred yards away. “I don’t want to watch the boy die,” she said, as she burst into tears.
But God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven, “Hagar, what’s wrong? Do not be afraid!
God has heard the boy crying as he lies there. Go to him and comfort him, for I will make a great nation from his descendants.”
Children Are A Gift From God
Even though the mother Hagar was crying out for her child, the cry that the Lord heard and responded to was the cry of the child. The Lord God loves children and He always has his eyes on them. The word of God says children are a gift from the Lord, and a reward from a mother’s womb.
A Prayer For Our Children
Father in the name of Jesus,
We come to you today and petition You for our children and the youth of this generation. We pray for their protection, their deliverance and healing. Father we know that you hear the cries of the children that are neglected, abused, aborted and even those sold into human trafficking. Your Word says in Psalm 27:10 “That even when our father and mother abandon us, You will care for us Lord. We thank You Lord for never leaving or forsaken our children, but that You are always with them.
We speak life to our children and our youth as they go back to school. Cover them Father from the hand of the evil one. We come against every scheme and plot of the wicked one. We pray for the babies in the daycare centers, pre-school, elementary, middle, high schools and colleges. Lord, cover the grounds of these schools and institutions with your blood. Send forth your angels to the four corners of the schools to watch, guard and protect over the lives of our children, parents and school administrators.
We pray for your salvation, peace and love to flow throughout the schools and in every home. Meet every need of the parents and provide finances and resources so that the family lacks for nothing.
We pray Father that you will help the children to stand bold, strong and courageous in your Word. May they be like the three Hebrew boys Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego who will not bow down to the sound of this world. Save our children Father from the lure of hypnotic sound of the hiss of Satan.
Restore Divine Order In The Homes Lord
Father we thank you that households will be set in order according to your design for the family. We pray that the children will no longer oppress the homes and the wives rule. Rather, let the husbands and fathers stand in their God given authority and positions as head of the households. Help us to show our children Godly examples of holiness in the home. Let the hearts of the fathers turn to the children and let the heart of the children return to the fathers.
Give the parents your divine wisdom, knowledge and understanding on how to lead our children into YOUR purpose for their lives. We thank you Lord for your Word and your promise to take care of the children.
Father, we pray that this year our children will receive divine justice and protection from on high and we thank you for coming to deliver. In Jesus mighty name we thank you Father.
