One of the areas of ministry that the Lord has called me to is deliverance. I have a passion to see people not only receive the salvation of Jesus Christ but to also be delivered and set free from the strongholds of the enemy.  Today I wanted to share some deliverance scriptures for victory in spiritual warfare against the enemy. God promises His sons and daughters that He will deliver us from all our enemies if we will keep His commandments and not worship or fear any other gods. For The Lord our God Jehovah Tsaba is the Lord who fights for us and gives us the victory!

Listen to me, all you men of Israel! Don’t be afraid as you go out to fight today! For the Lord your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you the victory!’

2 Kings 17:38-39
And the covenant that I have made with you, you shall not forget, nor shall you fear other gods. But the Lord your God you shall fear; and He will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies.”

The Arrow of The Lord’s Deliverance

The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance - Royal Girlz Ministry

It is God’s good pleasure to deliver His children from the hand of the enemy. He partners with us here on earth to bring forth deliverance and victory. The Lord sends out His arrow of deliverance and He has given us arrows of deliverance in our quiver as well that will destroy our enemy. As we partner with the Lord in deliverance we must be obedient to follow all His commands. Deliverance requires us to be persistent, tough and fierce in warfare. We must not give up until the enemy is destroyed and deliverance has come forth.
Scripture References:

Elisha had become sick with the illness of which he would die. Then Joash the king of Israel came down to him, and wept over his face, and said, “O my father, my father, the chariots of Israel and their horsemen!”

And Elisha said to him, “Take a bow and some arrows.” So he took himself a bow and some arrows. Then he said to the king of Israel, “Put your hand on the bow.” So he put his hand on it, and Elisha put his hands on the king’s hands. And he said, “Open the east window”; and he opened it. Then Elisha said, “Shoot”; and he shot. And he said, “The arrow of theLord’s deliverance and the arrow of deliverance from Syria; for you must strike the Syrians at Aphek till you have destroyed them.”

Then he said, “Take the arrows”; so he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground”; so he struck three times, and stopped. And the man of God was angry with him, and said, “You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times.”

Deliverance Through Intercession

Deliverance Through Intercession - Royal Girlz Ministry

The act of intercession is the intervening on behalf of someone else by praying and standing in gap between them and a difficult situation. As an intercessor, you must stay in the place of humility and have clean hands and a pure heart. It is from the purity of the intercessor that God will move on behalf of the one being prayed for and bring forth deliverance. Jesus is holy, harmless, undefiled and separate from sinners. As intercessors, He has anointed and called us to pray and bring forth deliverance to others as well.

Luke 4:18-19
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Hebrews 7:24-27
But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens; who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.

The Holy Spirit Intercedes Through Us

Jesus is our High Priest and Great Intercessor who is always interceding to The Father on our behalf. The word of God says that He lives forevermore to make intercession for us. Not only does Jesus intercede for us, but we are instructed as believers to pray for one another and for all men. The scriptures tell us that we are to pray with all kinds of prayers for one another. It is these kinds of prayers that bring forth healing and deliverance to others.  As intercessors, we may not understand all the dynamics of a situation, but the Holy Spirit does.  When we pray in the spirit, it is The Holy Spirit praying through us that we may pray the perfect will of God.

Scripture References:

Romans 8:26-27
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

1 Timothy 2:1-4
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

The Gift of Intercession

The Bible tells us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, do good to them that hate us, and pray for those which despitefully use and persecute us. Why does God call us to pray for those who use and persecute us? It’s because when we pray for others, it’s hard to remain angry, bitter and offended at them. Prayer brings forth healing and deliverance not just for others, but for ourselves as well.  The gift of intercession brings forth a quiet, happy, peaceable and godly life to those who allow the Holy Spirit to use them in bringing deliverance to others. Intercession is truly a gift to both the giver and the receiver.

Scripture References:
“Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace;
Thereby good will come to you.
Receive, please, instruction from His mouth,
And lay up His words in your heart.
If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up;
You will remove iniquity far from your tents.
Then you will lay your gold in the dust,
And the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks.
Yes, the Almighty will be your gold
And your precious silver;
For then you will have your delight in the Almighty,
And lift up your face to God.
You will make your prayer to Him,
He will hear you,
And you will pay your vows.
You will also declare a thing,
And it will be established for you;
So light will shine on your ways.
When they cast you down, and you say, ‘Exaltation will come!
Then He will save the humble person.
He will even deliver one who is not innocent;
Yes, he will be delivered by the purity of your hands.

Overcoming The Power of The Occult

This book contains a wealth of practical information for the person interested in, planning to engage in, or actively engaged in the ministry of deliverance.

It is a practical handbook, offering valuable guidance on how to determine:

  • how demons enter
  • if deliverance is needed
  • how deliverance is accomplished for others and self
  • how to retain deliverance
  • groupings of demons

The book also includes a chapter presenting a revelation on the problems of schizophrenia which could revolutionize the way this subject has been traditionally viewed by the medieval profession.

The Power of Prayer

Prayer is a powerful weapon that God has given to believers in their spiritual arsenal. The power of prayer is so intimidating to the enemy and he does all he can to prevent it. The enemy knows that when we pray to God, it releases His arrows of deliverance, breakthrough, healing and victory. The captives are set free through the effectual prayers of the righteous.

James 5:13-16
Are you having troubles? You should pray. Are you happy? You should sing. Are you sick? Ask the elders of the church to come and rub oil on you in the name of the Lord and pray for you. If such a prayer is offered in faith, it will heal anyone who is sick. The Lord will heal them. And if they have sinned, he will forgive them.

So always tell each other the wrong things you have done. Then pray for each other. Do this so that God can heal you. Anyone who lives the way God wants can pray, and great things will happen.
