Train Up A Child In The Way
The Bible teaches us to train up a child in the way of the Lord, according to the Word of God. When he or she grows up, that teaching will never depart or leave from their hearts. As parents we want to make sure that our children always succeed in life and in godliness. We nurture them in the things of the Lord, pray, protect, but most of all…we love them. Although as parents we love them, there is still a greater love than ours.

Now more than ever, we must pray and fight for the souls of our children on a daily basis. Seek God’s protection over them as they go to school, pray for Him to cover and protect their minds against all wickedness. It is so many distractions out there for our children and so many devices that the enemy has set up for our children. Train up a child meaning is the God given ability to parents to teach and instruct our children in the ways of the Lord. The enemy knows that if he can captivate the minds of our children at a young age while no one is really paying attention, he will have them for a lifetime. It is our responsibility as parents to ensure that the enemy does not have his way with our children.

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
A Prayer For Our Children
Father In The Name of Jesus,
We speak life over our children today. We call forth their spiritual gifts and pray for You to walk with them in their divine destiny in You. Anoint them for greatness. Give them the courage to stand boldly for God’s Word in all that they say and do. Let them not just be hearers of Your Word but also doers. Lord, You have created each one of our children so uniquely different and given them all a special assignment here in this earth realm. Lead them and guide them in the paths of righteousness for Your name sake. We pray that their minds and hearts will continually be turned towards You Lord all the days of their lives.
Holy Spirit we seek your truth and counsel on how to raise each one of our children in their uniqueness. I pray You will strengthen us as parents. Anoint us to handle our children in the manner that You have called us to. Help us to to grow in wisdom, knowledge and understanding and give us discernment as to who our children really are in You. As you impart in us the wisdom to train up our children in the way they should go, we will trust in You and in Your Word.
