~ Will You Refuse To Humble Yourself ~
In today’s daily word we read about the eighth plague of locusts that God sent on the land of Egypt. Pharoah continuously refused to listen and obey God and so God hardened his heart and the hearts of his servants. In this season God is asking us the same question. Will you refuse to humble yourself or will you submit your will to My will.
Much of what is going on now during this pandemic is because God’s people refuse to humble and submit themselves under the mighty hand of God. We have been called to humble ourselves, pray and then turn from wickedness then God will hear us and heal the land. Humbling is an act that we must do ourselves. You should never want or pray for God to humble you because that will come with punishment.
Now the Lord said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh; for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his servants, that I may show these signs of Mine before him, and that you may tell in the hearing of your son and your son’s son the mighty things I have done in Egypt, and My signs which I have done among them, that you may know that I am the Lord.”
So Moses and Aaron came in to Pharaoh and said to him, “Thus says the Lord God of the Hebrews: ‘How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me? Let My people go, that they may serve Me. Or else, if you refuse to let My people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts into your territory.
