For the last 2 years, we have been told across media and the medical field to trust the science. This pandemic has caused many to doubt, fear and fight, but what does God say about science?
We read in the Book of Timothy, where Timothy is being warned by the Apostle Paul about the false teachings that would arise. Paul warned Timothy to hold on to what he was taught. Stand on the foundation of truth against a time that would come where everything you have been taught will be challenged and opposed. In this particular passage we are warned as believers to not put our trust in science but rather in God our Creator.
KJV Scripture Reference:
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high minded, nor trust in uncertain riches,
But in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.
That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
Which some professing have erred concerning the faith.

Timothy, God has trusted you with many things. Keep these things safe. Stay away from people who talk about useless things that are not from God and who argue against you with a “knowledge” that is not knowledge at all. Some people who claim to have that “knowledge” have gone completely away from what we believe.
