In today’s daily word of God, I want to talk about the protection of wisdom and money. The Book of Ecclesiastes was written by King Solomon who was the wisest man on earth. In this particular teaching, he makes a correlation between both wisdom and money. The commonality between the two is that they both bring you protection. Both wisdom and money can protect us against things in this world, but there is a deeper knowledge to know. Although both can provide us protection, only wisdom has the ability to save your life.
I always say, wisdom without knowledge is a a dangerous thing. It takes knowledge to understand that the wisdom of God will teach you what to do and how to handle the money that they have been given. In this life, we need the protection of both wisdom and money. Neither of the two should be despised, but the wisdom of God is to treasured above all. It is the wisdom of God that will protect us from the love of money which is the root of all evils. God has a plan for our money, but we must never put more value on it than His wisdom.
Ecclesiastes 7:11-12
Wisdom is as good as an inheritance,
An advantage to those who see the sun.
For the protection of wisdom is like the protection of money,
And the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to the one who possesses it.
