Tears

Let’s change the way we see our tears
I know this is kind of strange to hear
But please listen as I try to make it clearer

Tears are an outward sign that something is going on in the inside
Sometimes we cry when we are sad
But sometimes they come because we are glad

At times they come when we can’t say a word
Forget not they come when our prayers are being heard

Yes, at times when you are laughing so hard
They come from the corners and catch you off guard

The Bible says what we sow in tears we will reap in joy
On those words
Come and let us explore

What we sow is not what we get, but what we give out
We know we will get it all back without a doubt

But to sow in tears means to water
Cry over your prayers in praise and worship

To speak and water
Over what is to come
To declare Gods declarations

To know that your water must break
In order for a birthing to take place
Let’s change the way we see our tears
We have got it wrong for so many years

And now that we see
With tears come total victory
We should always anticipate our water to break
And bring all the blessings that we thought were late

Now we know, only when in tears we sow
Will we produce the things only GOD can grow

Let’s understand our tears are cleansing us and making us free
So we can see clearly what God needs us to be
So go ahead and cry, and then add your hands as we wave good-bye

To all the things that made you cry
But remember when the tears stop
Keep your hands raised and watch the tears change to praise

Then close your eyes as you begin to smile
All the while still reaching for your prize
And once the manifestation appears
You will remember you birth everything in tears

Psalm 126:5

Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy.
