Prophet What Do You See?
This word “Prophet What Do You See” was given to me from the Lord last year in 2017 by way of a vision. The vision showed the heart of the Lord and how He is moving in the Body of Christ. Looking back on this vision, I can see much of it coming to pass. This is a prophetic warning to the Body of Christ. There have been several of God’s true prophetic voices sounding the alarm for God’s people to awake. It’s time to arise and return to your first love.

Scripture Reference
Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying: Son of man, speak to the children of your people and say to them: If I bring a sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from among them and set him for their watchman, and he sees the sword come upon the land and blows the trumpet and warns the people, then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet yet did not take warning. His blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning delivers his soul. If the watchman sees the sword come and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned and a sword comes and takes a person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity. But his blood I will require from the hand of the watchman. Now as for you, son of man: I have set you a watchman to the house of Israel. Therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them from Me.
THE VISION:
The Lord showed me these four tools and asked me “What Do You See?” My response was that all the tools looked like instruments of measurement. Each one of these are instruments are used in some form to measure or weigh something.
The 4 Items I Saw Were:
- Scales – Instrument used to measure weight
- Hourglass- Instrument used to measure time
- Plummet – Instrument used to measure alignment or uprightness
- Measure Rod – Instrument used to measure the extent, amount, quantity or degree of something. Having a sequence of marks at regular intervals.
I began to search the scriptures to find out what each one of these tools of measurement meant according to the word of God. As I began to search the scriptures Holy Spirit began to show me the heart of the Lord concerning this time of measuring the body. This is what He spoke.
Scripture References
Leviticus 19:33-37
Don’t mistreat any foreigners (sinners) who live in your land. Instead, treat them as well as you treat citizens (believers) and love them as much as you love yourself. Remember, you were once foreigners (sinners) in the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God. Use honest scales and don’t cheat when you weigh or measure anything. I am the Lord your God. I rescued you from Egypt, and I command you to obey my laws.
Deuteronomy 25:13 -16
You must not have in your bag different weights, a large and a small. You must not have in your house differing measures, a large and a small. But you must have a perfect and just weight—a perfect and just measure you must have, so that your days may be lengthened in the land which the Lord your God is giving you. For all who do such things and all who act unjustly are an abomination to the Lord your God.
TOOLS OF MEASURING:
Measuring Rod or Ruler
(Mete or ie: centimeter or millimeter) – Equal, Fair & Just
Measure in this context means to measure by a fixed standard. What you give shall be given unto you.
Scripture References
Ezekiel 18:23-29
Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live?
“But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die.
“Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ Hear now, O house of Israel, is it not My way which is fair, and your ways which are not fair? When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity, and dies in it, it is because of the iniquity which he has done that he dies. Again, when a wicked man turns away from the wickedness which he committed, and does what is lawful and right, he preserves himself alive. Because he considers and turns away from all the transgressions which he committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die. Yet the house of Israel says, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ O house of Israel, is it not My ways which are fair, and your ways which are not fair?
Scripture References
Matthew 7:2
You’ll be judged, you see, by the judgment you use to judge others! You’ll be measured by the measuring-rod you use to measure others!
Mark 4:24
Then He said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear. By your own standard of measurement [that is, to the extent that you study spiritual truth and apply godly wisdom] it will be measured to you [and you will be given even greater ability to respond]—and more will be given to you besides.
Revelation 11:1
I was given a reed like a measuring rod. The angel stood, saying, “Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar, and those who worship in it.
MEASURING ROD LESSON:
God is measuring the saints. We must ask ourselves are we equal not to the people around us and man’s standards but are we measuring up to the standards of our heavenly Father. The word of God is our measuring rod and we must line our lives up to it accordingly.
Plumbline
The plumbline measures our Uprightness & Integrity. A plumbline is a weight on the end of a string that builders use to make sure their walls stand straight. A wall may look right, but if it doesn’t match a plumbline, it is out of harmony or balance. In the same way, God will use a plumbline to judge whether we are straight and (upright) by His standards.
Amos 7:1-8
This is what the Lord showed me: He stood by a wall with a plumb line in his hand. (The wall had been marked with a plumb line.)
The Lord said to me, “Amos, what do you see?”
I said, “A plumb line.”
Then the Lord said to me, “See, I will put a plumb line among my people Israel.
I will not let their ‘crooked ways’ pass inspection anymore.
Scripture References
Psalm 15:1-5
Lord, who will abide in Your tabernacle?
Who will dwell in Your holy hill?
He who walks uprightly,
And does righteousness,
And speaks truth in his heart;
He who does not slander with the tongue
And does no evil to his neighbor,
Nor bears a reproach against his friend;
In whose eyes a vile person is despised,
But who honors those who fear the Lord;
He who swears to avoid evil
And does not change;
He who does not put his money out to usury,
Nor take a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things will never be moved.
Galatians 2:14
But when I saw that they were not walking in line (upright) with the truth of the Good News, I said to Peter in front of everyone, “If you—being a Jew—live like the Gentiles and not like the Jews, how can you force the Gentiles to live like Jews?”
Revelation 21:15
The angel who spoke to me had a gold measuring stick to measure the city and its gates and its walls.
PLUMBLINE LESSON:
We must sincerely ask ourselves today are we walking upright before the Lord or are we off balance, leaning to the left or right. As believers, all eyes are on us. Everything we do is being watched and everything we say is being heard not just by God, but from our own brothers and sisters in Christ AND the world. They are lining up your talk with your walk. We can’t bring others to Christ when they look at us and see that we still live the same way they do.
Just like the wall the Lord stands against and measures with the plumbline, the Lord is now standing beside the church both individually and corporately to measure His Bride. He wants to present His Bride in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. The Lord says “It’s time to get fitted and measured for your eternal garments”

Scales and Balance
The scales and balance are used to measures the weight of pride. To be presumptuous by failing to observe the limits of what is permitted or appropriate.
Scripture References
Proverbs 11:1-3
Dishonest scales are an abomination to the Lord,
But a just weight is His delight.
When pride comes, then comes shame;
But with the humble is wisdom.
The integrity of the upright will guide them,
But the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them.
The Writing On The Wall
“But Belshazzar, you already knew this. You are Nebuchadnezzar’s grandson, but still you have not made yourself humble. No, you did not become humble. Instead, you have turned against the Lord of heaven. You ordered the drinking cups from his Temple to be brought to you. Then you and your royal officials, your wives, and your slave women drank wine from those cups. You gave praise to the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood, and stone. They are not really gods; they cannot see or hear or understand anything. But you did not give honor to the God who has the power over your life and everything you do. So because of that, God sent the hand that wrote on the wall. These are the words that were written on the wall:
mene, mene, tekel, uparsin.
This is what these words mean:
Mene:
God has counted the days until your kingdom will end.
Tekel:
You have been weighed on the scales and found not good enough.
Uparsin:
Your kingdom is being taken from you.
It will be divided among the Medes and Persians.”
THE SCALES AND BALANCE LESSON:
The Lord God hates pride and arrogance and even kicked Satan out of heaven for it. When we begin to walk in pride, we become brazen, overconfident, arrogant, bold and cocky. These are traits that the Lord hates, He calls an abomination and will result in being brought low.
The Hourglass
Measures time and distance
Scripture References
Romans 13:11-13
I say this because you know that we live in an important time. Yes, it is now time for you to wake up from your sleep. Our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is almost finished. The day is almost here. So we should stop doing whatever belongs to darkness. We should prepare ourselves to fight evil with the weapons that belong to the light. Live in a right way, like people who belong to the day. We should not have wild parties or be drunk. Not be involved in sexual sin or any kind of immoral behavior. We should not cause arguments and trouble or be jealous.
The Bridegroom Is Coming
At that time God’s kingdom will be like ten girls who went to wait for the bridegroom. They took their lamps with them. Five of the girls were foolish, and five were wise. The foolish girls took their lamps with them, but they did not take extra oil for the lamps. The wise girls took their lamps and more oil in jars. When the bridegroom was very late, the girls could not keep their eyes open, and they all fell asleep.
“At midnight someone announced, ‘The bridegroom is coming! Come and meet him!’
“Then all the girls woke up. They made their lamps ready. But the foolish girls said to the wise girls, ‘Give us some of your oil. The oil in our lamps is all gone.’
“The wise girls answered, ‘No! The oil we have might not be enough for all of us. But go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’
“So the foolish girls went to buy oil. While they were gone, the bridegroom came. The girls who were ready went in with the bridegroom to the wedding feast. Then the door was closed and locked.
“Later, the other girls came. They said, ‘Sir, sir! Open the door to let us in.’
“But the bridegroom answered, ‘Certainly not! I don’t even know you.’
“So always be ready. You don’t know the day or the time when the Son of Man will come.
THE HOURGLASS LESSON:
Just as the hourglass measures time, we must understand that we are in the last minute before Christ’s return. We must be able to discern the time and season Ecclesiastes 8:5 says “He who keeps his command will experience nothing harmful; And a wise man’s heart discerns both time and judgment” We must begin to ask the Lord to give us discernment, wisdom and understanding of the time we are living in and and how to strategically move in this season.
Prophetic Warning
I pray that that you have heard and received this prophetic warning in your ears and in your hearts. It is not God’s will that any should perish. The cry is already going out… “The Bridegroom Is Coming”! The trumpet is sounding and it’s reading one minute to midnight. Are you awoke, is your wick trimmed, and do you have enough oil in your lamp to go into the door with Jesus. It’s time for us to examine ourselves for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
