I originally posted this do not take your shoes off prophetic dream back in February of 2017.  I wanted to repost it for you today while we are in our spiritual warfare study. Although it was posted over 4 years ago, I feel it is still very relevant for this season we are in.

As the scriptures instruct us to put on the whole Armour of God, let us not forget our Shoes of Peace. I pray the Lord will give you a word from this dream.

Do Not Take Your Shoes Off Dream

February 24, 2017

I wanted to share this dream I had this morning. It wasn’t a very long dream or spiritually deep, but I believe the simplicity of the interpretation was what the Lord wanted me to receive more than anything.

In the dream a friend and I went to visit a church. It was a church that both of us knew the leaders and some of the members. I wore these shoes that I actually have in my closet and I call them my Dorothy shoes because of the crystals on them. Before I entered into the sanctuary I took my shoes off to make sure I didn’t track anything from outside onto the church floor. There was a service they were having that day, but I knew that was not my main reason for being there. I didn’t have a real purpose to be there other than to just love on people. I did a lot of hugging and encouraging people.

No Hugging Allowed

There was a woman that I knew in particular and when I went to hug her, she stuck her hand out very forcefully as if to block me from embracing her. When she did this I looked at her and still embraced her as much as I could, but I thought it was very strange that she took such a harsh stance to block my embrace. I could tell she wanted me to just leave. Since I had pretty much accomplished what I was sent to do, I went back to put my shoes on and they were gone! My beautiful shoes were gone. As I searched all over the church for them I had come to the realization that someone stole my shoes and I had to leave the church barefoot without my shoes…..

Dream Interpretation

As I read back over this dream that was given to me back in 2017, It brought me to where we are today. In 2021, due to the Coronavirus pandemic we were told all over the world to distance ourselves 6 ft from others and to restrain from embracing one another. Honestly when I had this dream 4 years ago, I really didn’t put much into other than to make sure I keep my war clothes on at all times. Reading it today, I also see that it was a vision of what our world would look like in 2021.

The Love Of Many Is Growing Cold

We are living in a world now where people are afraid to embrace one another because they fear catching a virus. The love of many has grown cold, just as the scriptures say that it would. People will literally start a fight with you if you get too close to them. Now, if you have not received a shot, they don’t want you anywhere around them. This is sad, but it is also the times that we are living in, but we cannot allow the coldness and fear of others to make us not walk in the peace and love of God. Truly we are living in the perilous end times that the book of Matthew speaks of. It is imperative that we stay fully dressed at all times.

Stay Fully Dressed

This dream was a reminder to me to keep on the whole armor of God as instructed in Ephesian 6. We are to always remain FULLY DRESSED no matter what the circumstances are or where we go. We can’t take our amour off, even in the house of God.

Ephesians 6:13-18
Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

Stay Alert & Diligent

Sometimes we feel that because we are in a church setting or House of God that we can relax and let our guard down, but this dream was a reminder that the enemy is lurking everywhere waiting for an opportunity to get a foothold. I couldn’t believe that someone was so bold to steal my shoes in the house of God. Well, the enemy is that bold and when given the opportunity, he will steal everything from you that God has given to you. We must remain on guard and diligent at all times and not allow the enemy to get a foothold in any area of our lives.

Ephesians 4:27
Don’t give the devil any opportunity to work.

It is not an enemy who taunts me
I could bear that.
It is not my foes who so arrogantly insult me
I could have hidden from them.
Instead, it is you—my equal,o
my companion and close friend.
What good fellowship we once enjoyed
as we walked together to the house of God.

Keep Your Shoes of The Goespel of Peace On Royal Girlz Ministry

Keep Your Shoes On

Our feet represent movement and advancement. As we move forward in bringing the good news and spreading the gospel of the Kingdom to others, it is important that we have our feet covered with the gospel of  peace. When we take off the gospel of peace, we allow the enemy access to steal our peace towards others. Without the peace of God, we cannot effectively spread the gospel to others in such a hostile world that we are living in. We cover or shod our feet in preparation to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, promptness, and readiness that is produced by the good news of the Gospel of peace.

Isaiah 52:7
How beautiful is the person who comes over the mountains to bring good news. How beautiful is the one who announces peace. He brings good news and announces salvation. How beautiful are the feet of the one who says to Jerusalem, “Your God is king.”

Keep It Moving

Sometimes when we go to share the love of God and the good news with others, we are not received, even among those “we” consider a part of the body of Christ. In the dream, the enemy used the spirit of fear, rejection and offense to try and get a foothold. We must understand that we can’t force the love of God or the gospel on anyone. When the word is not received, we are to shake the dust off our feet and keep it moving.

Mark 6:11
In some places the people will not take you in. They will not listen to what you say. When you leave such a town, shake the dust off your feet. That will be a warning to them. I tell you the truth. On the day when people are judged, the people in that town will be punished harder than the people in the country of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Now the God of peace be with you all

Amen
