I send up an evening prayer to God as a sacrifice of my worship and reverence to His Holy name. Lord, I am thankful for Your provision and protection and how You have watched over me this day. I am humbled by the opportunity to experience Your constant presence and everlasting love in my life.
An Evening Prayer To God
In the evening, morning, and at noon, I pray and cry aloud to You, and You always hear my voice.
Throughout my day, I sought to glorify You in all that I said and did.
Help me to do everything without complaining or arguing so that I will be blameless, pure and a child of God without any fault.
We are living with evil people all around us who have lost their sense of what is right.
Help me Lord to shine like a light in this dark world, among these people as I offer them the teaching that gives life.
Even as I sleep, I pray my thoughts will be focused on what honors You.
Let me wake in the morning refreshed and renewed
With a heart yearning to serve You in all that I say and do.
Thank You for extending to me your wisdom so liberally.
Thank you for freeing me under your favor and mercy.
I am grateful for Your unconditional love and that Your banner over me is love.
How wonderful it is to abide and rest in your presence.
I will bless You Lord because You guide me in truth and righteousness
Instruct Me At Night Lord
Even at night Father, You speak to my heart and instruct me.
I know the Lord is always with me and I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.
Lord as I call to you for help, listen to me as I pray.
Lord please hurry and help me.
Accept my prayer like a gift of burning incense
And the words I lift up to You tonight like an evening sacrifice.
Lord I pray that you will set a guard over my mouth.
And keep watch over the door of my lips that I do not say anything that dishonors You.

An Evening Sacrifice Prayer
Lord, I call to you for help.
Listen to me as I pray.
Please hurry and help me!
Accept my prayer like a gift of burning incense, the words I lift up like an evening sacrifice.
Lord, help me control what I say.
Don’t let me say anything bad.
Take away any desire to do evil.
Keep me from joining the wicked in doing wrong.
Help me stay away from their feasts.
If good people correct me,
I will consider it a good thing.
If they criticize me,
I will accept it like a warm welcome.
But my prayer will always be against the wicked and the evil they do.
Let their judges be put to death.
Then everyone will know that I told the truth.
Like rocks in a field that a farmer has plowed, so our bones will be scattered in the grave.
My Lord God, I look to you for help.
I look to you for protection; don’t let me die.
Those evil people are trying to trap me.
Don’t let me fall into their traps.
Let the wicked fall into their own traps, while I walk away unharmed.
