Daily Affirmation
– The Doors Are Open Before Me –
Today’s Daily Affirmation declares that the doors are open before me and you. In my spiritual journey over the years, the Lord has taken me to different places in the spirit realm. I have been granted access to go through many doors and gates. Many years ago I received a prophetic word from a man of God that said he saw me with many keys. Keys represent access. It was a confirming word because when he gave it to me, I had already been given access to many places in the spirit realm by the Lord.
Let’s be clear, when I speak of being given access into the spirit realm, I am not speaking of astral projection. Astral projection is illegal access into the spirit realm by way of demonic spirit guides. I am referring to visions and revelations of the Lord that He has shown me by way of the Holy Spirit. This is nothing that I do intentionally with my soulish man. Those types of encounters and experiences are practiced by new agers, spiritualist and Satan worshipers.
There is more that I have to say about myself. It won’t help, but I will talk now about visions and revelations from the Lord. I know a man in Christ who was taken up to the third heaven. This happened 14 years ago. I don’t know if the man was in his body or out of his body, but God knows.
Keys To The Kingdom
As believers, we are lead by the Holy Spirit in everything we do. We don’t mediate or take drugs or chant or empty our minds. These are very dangerous practices. Instead we worship the Lord, sing praises to Him, pray, meditate on His word, commune with and wait on the Lord. It is the Lord that gives us access into those realms as He sees fit. This is never anything that we will to happen or force. As we spend time with the Lord, He opens the door to new levels, realms and dimensions in Him.
Whenever I see doors, gates, stairs and ladders in the spirit, I know I’m entering into another level in God. Most often these encounters will come to grow me in the word, train me in spiritual warfare, and develop me in the ways of the Lord. Jesus told His disciples I have given you keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. Keys denote access and authority.
And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
Today I wanted to share both this affirmation as well as this powerful teaching from Apostle Joshua Selman. Boldly declare it in the atmosphere that the Lord will go before you and open every gate and door. Whatever gates and doors that the Lord opens, no man shall close.
