The Birth of Jesus the Messiah

The Christmas season is here! This is the time of year where people are buying gifts for one another, more kind and giving. In all that we do during this season of celebration, let us remember that Jesus is the reason for the season. Before you “X” Christ out of CHRISTmas remember that He is the reason why we live.

The true gift is Jesus who brings forth salvation for all mankind to receive. Jesus didn’t “X” us out, so during this season take time to reflect on His love for us. Jesus Christ is the Son of The Living God and we celebrate Him today and everyday. Walk with us for the next few weeks as we tell the birth of Jesus the Messiah.

Matthew 1:17-18

So there were fourteen generations from Abraham to David. There were also fourteen generations from David until the people were taken away to Babylon. And there were fourteen more from the time the people were taken to Babylon until the Messiah was born.

This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah happened. His mother Mary was engaged to marry Joseph. But before they married, he learned that she was expecting a baby. (She was pregnant by the power of the Holy Spirit.)
