Wisdom speaks! Return To The Lord Part 1 – Jesus Is Calling His Bride. This word was given to me by the wisdom of the Lord to share with the Bride of Christ. We are at such a critical time on God’s calendar and you can feel the spiritual activity increasing very quickly day by day and hour by hour.
We are at a time of division and separation and the gray areas are no longer mixed. There is a clear distinction between the holy and unholy. These two are no longer mixed and are now moving farther from the middle to it’s opposite poles. The separation will clearly be seen and felt by everyone.
Matthew 10:34-36
Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth! No, rather, a sword. I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— a man’s worst enemies will be right in his own home!
Repent and Return
Wisdom said to me it is time to examine yourself quickly. Strengthen those things that remain, repent and return. Eat my word, Eat my word, Eat my word! Nothing else matters. The time is at hand to leave the things of this world. Destroy your idols, crush them to fine dust repent and return to your first love which is the Lord Jesus Christ.
The word says we are not ignorant of Satan’s schemes and devices. One of the devices he is using right now is called distraction. Satan uses this device to get our focus off the kingdom and onto the things of this world.
How Did I Get In This Place?
Have there been times in your spiritual life when you feel so distant from God. It feels like you are walking in a dark place and all the doors of escape are locked shut before you. High walls are surrounding you and there is no way to go under, over or around. You find yourself at a spiritual standstill groping in the darkness for God’s hand or searching for just a tiny ray of light to guide you out of this dark,dry and lonely place.
Deuteronomy 28:29
In daylight you will have to feel your way like a blind man. You will fail in everything you do. Again and again people will hurt you and steal from you. And there will be no one to save you.
Sing Your Song To The Lord
When you think back though it wasn’t always this way. When you first received the salvation of Christ, your were on fire for the Lord! You longed to be in his presence and everything would just seem to disappear as you sang your love song to Him. How fulfilling it was to worship and spend time together in your secret closet. Your heart would leap when you spent time with Him and you looked forward to the next time you could be in His presence.
Song of Solomon 2:14
My beloved is like a dove hiding in the cracks of the rock, in the secret places of the cliff. Show me your face, and let me hear your voice. Your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.
For All That Is In This World
You may wonder how did you got so far away from the Lord. Things changed and LIFE began to take over your focus. This change didn’t just happen all of a sudden or overnight. It was a gradual process of you becoming more concerned about the things of this world. Things like your job, husband/wife, buying new houses and cars, overly occupied with your children, clothes and material things.
The Distractions of The World
These distractions are designed by the enemy to draw you away from the love of the Father through the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. Eventually these idols were placed on the throne of your heart. This place is only made for Jesus. These distractions replaced the love you had for Jesus with the things of this world. These are the idols you went whoring after.
1 John 2:15-17
Don’t love the world’s ways. Don’t love the world’s goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father. Practically everything that goes on in the world—wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important—has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from him. The world and all its wanting, wanting, wanting is on the way out—but whoever does what God wants is set for eternity.
Jesus Is Calling His Bride To Return To Him
In this season I can hear Jesus calling and wooing his bride to return to her first love. He reminds us that as we draw near to Him, then He will draw near to us. Lastly, He invites us to return to our first love…which is Him. Before when He would call you to prayer and commune with Him, you would answer immediately but now when He calls, you have stopped answering His calls.
Jesus Calls You:
I want to meet with you this evening.
Can you come spend some time with me I long to hear your voice.
Your Answer:
I’ll call Him back later.
I worked 12 hours today and I’m exhausted!
I gotta make this money to get my new car!
James 4:8-10
Come near to God and he will come near to you. You are sinners, so clean sin out of your lives. You are trying to follow God and the world at the same time. Make your thinking pure. Be sad, be sorry, and cry! Change your laughter into crying. Change your joy into sadness. Be humble before the Lord, and he will make you great.
Jesus Calls You:
Leave your lovers and return to me.
I miss you!
I will take you back with open arms and give you everything you need
Your Answer:
If I follow hard after you now Lord, I could loss everything!
Decide if You Can Follow Me
Many people were traveling with Jesus. He said to them, “If you come to me but will not leave your family, you cannot be my follower. You must love me more than your father, mother, wife, children, brothers, and sisters—even more than your own life! Whoever will not carry the cross that is given to them when they follow me cannot be my follower.
But I have this against you: You have left the love you had in the beginning. So remember where you were before you fell. Change your hearts and do what you did at first. If you don’t change, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.
