Prophecy Divination And
The Diviners Fee
In today’s teaching on prophecy divination and the diviners fee, I will discuss the difference between true prophecy and divination. How can you tell a prophet of God from a diviner? What are some of the practices and objects of divination and have you unknowingly taken part in it. Unfortunately, we are seeing a rise in the spirit of divination within the Body of Christ.
Many who were once true prophets and prophetess of God have gone astray. They have left the faith and now use these forms of divination to get a word…but it is not the word of the Lord. Out of disobedience and stubbornness to repent and turn back to God, the spirit of God have left them. They no longer hear the voice of God and have follow the voice of the stranger and familiar spirits. Many of these false prophets are in the church deceiving God’s people and they follow hard after these false teachers and prophets. What does God’s word have to say about this?

God Forbids These Abominations
When you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you. You shall be blameless before the Lord your God.
Prophecy
Prophecy is the inspiration to declare, tell forth, or reveal the word of the Lord. It’s the act of predicting the future as inspired by the anointing of the Lord. True prophecy of God is not based on man’s ideas and vain imagination. Prophecy is the speaking forth of the heart and mind of God given to His mouthpiece the prophets and prophetess too speak forth.
2 Peter 1:19-21
And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
I may have the gift of prophecy, I may understand all secrets and know everything there is to know, and I may have faith so great that I can move mountains. But even with all this, if I don’t have love, I am nothing.
Divination
Nehemiah 6:11-13
And I discerned, and, lo, God had not sent him; but he pronounced this prophecy against me: and Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him. For this cause was he hired, that I should be afraid, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they might reproach me.
The word divination is an institution of retrieving and exchanging spiritual information that reports on people’s future – mostly concerning their fortunes or tragedies. Divination is done through the use of objects such as:
- Tarot cards
- Divining rods
- Water witching
- Hydromancy
- Tea leaf reading
- Palm reading
- Astrology
- Numerology
- Augury
- Entrail readings
- Ouija Board
- Crystal balls
- Crystals
Christians Practicing Crystal Healing & Amulets
I hear a lot of Christians talking about using crystals for their healing properties and this is a form of divination as well. This idea of healing from crystals and gems come from Satan. Before he fell, Lucifer was an anointed Cherub. He was covered in beautiful precious gem stones and he walked among the fiery stones. The worship of these stones to bring healing is just another form of worshiping Satan. Jesus Is Our Healer…Not Crystals! We don’t worship the created nut instead we worship the Creator!

Jesus healed many of those who had different kinds of sicknesses. He also forced many demons out of people. But he would not allow the demons to speak, because they knew who he was.
The Use of Amulets
Crystals are also worn on the body as what is called amulets. Amulets are ornaments or small pieces of jewelry that are thought to give protection against evil, danger, or disease. These are just a few of the amulet objects that people wear to invoke evil spirits for divination or to protect themselves from evil spirits. What many don’t understand is that these objects actually draw spirits to you not ward them off. Some of the more popular include the following:
- Eye of Horus

- Goat head of Baphomet
- Cross of Nero
- Italian Horn (unicorn horn or leprechaun staff)
- Scarab Dung Beetle
- Satanic S Lightening Bolt

- Upright Ax of Rebellion and anti justice
- Talismn
- Hamsa
NOTE: If you are a believer and own or wear these objects on your body I would strongly advise you to throw them away and break your agreement with these objects of divination.
The Diviners Fee
The diviner’s fee is money or valuables given to a fortune teller or a diviner (false prophet) to utter predictions by way of invisible spirits. This is not regarding what the word of the Lord is over that circumstance or person’s life. This fee is rendered as payment for predictions and other intervening spiritual activity or for the things they need to make curses.
God prohibits His prophets from charging fees for their services. The practice of giving a diviners fee stemmed from recognition of the prophet’s ability and authority with their petitioned god. As advanced reciprocation for what the prophets reputation already demonstrated that he or she could retrieve or manifest from the supernatural on their behalf whether that be fortune or disaster.
Examples of God’s prophets being offered a reward include:
- The Shunamite woman rewarding the Prophet Elijah with a furnished apartment, food water and hospitality just because he was a prophet.
- Naaman commander of the army of the king of Syria was a mighty man of valor but he was a leper. His king supplied with a hugh bounty from his king to give to the prophet Elisha in exchange for his service of healing.
- Joseph and Daniel the prophet was constantly rewarded by the kings that they served for their accuracy in dream interpretation, wise counsel and for correctly prophesying the future.
The Prophet’s Reward
These examples show us that the lord does not mind his servant the prophets receiving reward for their services. However, He does take an issue with His servants receiving money to manipulate people for their own personal gain and advantage with false prophecies.
The Prophet Turned Into A Soothsayer
The diviners fee is given to those false prophets and prophetess who operate in the soulish realm of divination. These soulish, psychic prophecies from familiar spirits are picked up from supernatural beings within in the spirit realm of the prophets operation. A diviners fee was offered to Balaam to curse the children of Israel
Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.
And the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the rewards of divination in their hand; and they came unto Balaam, and spake unto him the words of Balak.
God Said in Numbers 23:23 that “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse those who curse you. I will use you to bless all the people on earth.”
There is no curse, enchantment, omen, magic spell, sorcery, charm, or occultic power that can curse someone whom the Lord has blessed.
Children of God as long as you are in right standing with the Lord and obeying His laws and commandments, you never have to worry about your enemy cursing you. It’s when you are walking in disobedience to the Lord that you leave the door open for the enemy to curse you. Much like the children of Israel, many of God’s children have angered Him through sin and disobedience.

The Lord uses prophets as his mouthpiece to speak God’s word and warn the people of what’s coming. Most people won’t listen to the word of a true prophet because they are stubborn and rebellious. They prefer to hear the word of the false prophets and prophetess…the diviners that tell them the lies they want to hear.
These things happened because the Israelites had sinned against the Lord their God. And it was the Lord who brought the Israelites out of the land of Egypt! He saved them from the power of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. But the Israelites began worshiping other gods. They began doing the same things that other people did. And the Lord had forced those people to leave their land when the Israelites came. The Israelites also chose to be ruled by kings. The Israelites secretly did things against the Lord their God, and those things were wrong!
The Israelites built high places in all their cities—from the smallest town to the largest city. They put up memorial stones and Asherah poles on every high hill and under every green tree. They burned incense there in all those places for worship. They did these things like the nations that the Lord forced out of the land before them. The Israelites did evil things that made the Lord angry. They served idols, and the Lord had said to them, “You must not do this.”
The Lord used every prophet and every seer to warn Israel and Judah. He said, “Turn away from the evil things you do. Obey my commands and laws. Follow all the law that I gave to your ancestors. I used my servants the prophets to give this law to you.”
Our Stubborn and Rebellious Ancestors
But the people would not listen. They were very stubborn like their ancestors. Their ancestors did not believe the Lord their God. They refused to follow his laws and the agreement he made with their ancestors. They would not listen to his warnings. They worshiped idols that were worth nothing and they themselves became worth nothing. The Lord had warned them not to do the evil things that the people in the nations around them did. But they lived the same way those people lived.
The people stopped following the commands of the Lord their God. They made two gold statues of calves. They made Asherah poles. They worshiped all the stars of heaven and served Baal. They sacrificed their sons and daughters in the fire. They used magic and witchcraft to try to learn the future. They sold themselves to do what the Lord said was evil. They did this to make him angry. So the Lord became very angry with Israel and removed them from his sight. There were no Israelites left, except the tribe of Judah.
But even the people of Judah did not obey the commands of the Lord their God. They lived just as the Israelites had. The Lord rejected all the Israelites. He brought them many troubles. He let people destroy them. Finally, he threw them away and removed them from his sight. He tore them from the family of David, and they made Jeroboam son of Nebat their king. Jeroboam pulled the Israelites away from following the Lord. He caused them to commit a great sin. So the Israelites sinned in all the ways Jeroboam did. And they did not stop committing these sins until the Lord took Israel away from his sight. And he said this would happen. He sent his prophets to tell the people this would happen.
Shouting Peace Then Sudden Destruction
You have many false prophets today telling you that things will be great, peace is here and our best days are ahead of us. That is a lie and not the word of the Lord. We are living in perilous times and he only time peace will come to earth is when Jesus Christ The Prince of Peace returns to this earth. Until then…there is no peace! The sword of God is already wet with the blood of these false prophets and prophetess lying to the people. The Six Men Are Coming. Then I said: ‘Ah, Lord God! Here are the prophets saying to them, “You shall not see the sword, nor shall you have famine, but I will give you true peace in this place.”’ And the Lord said to me: The prophets are prophesying lies in my name; I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them.
They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds. Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name though I did not send them, and who say, ‘Sword and famine shall not come on this land’: By sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed.
Disaster Will Come
Then the word of the Lord came to me. He said, “Son of man, why do people quote this saying about the land of Israel:
‘Trouble will not come soon;
what is seen in visions will not come’?
“Tell the people that the Lord God will end that saying. They will not say that about Israel anymore.
Now they will quote this saying:
‘Trouble will come soon;
what is seen in visions will happen.’
“There will not be any more false visions in Israel. There will not be any more magicians telling things that don’t come true. That’s because I am the Lord, and if I say something will happen, it will happen! I will not wait any longer.
Trouble Is Coming
Those troubles are coming soon—in your own lifetime. Hear me, you people who always refuse to obey! When I say something, I make it happen.” This is what the Lord God said.
Then the word of the Lord came to me. He said, “Son of man, the people of Israel think that the visions I give you are for a time far in the future. They think you are talking about things that will happen many years from now. So you must tell them this: ‘The Lord God says, I will not delay any longer. If I say something will happen, it will happen!’” This is what the Lord God said.
Woe To The Lying Prophets And Prophetess
The Lord said this is the year of release and the year of woes. You have a lot of Christians that are trying to hang on to this world and the things thereof. They love this world more than thy love God and so they have already lost their lives. The word of God says that He is about to deliver His people out of the hand of these false prophets and prophetess that claim they are hearing from the Lord. This is what the Lord said…
The Lord said:
Ezekiel, son of man, condemn the prophets of Israel who say they speak in my name, but who preach messages that come from their own imagination. Tell them it’s time to hear my message.
I, the Lord God, say those lying prophets are doomed! They don’t see visions—they make up their own messages! Israel’s prophets are no better than jackals that hunt for food among the ruins of a city. They don’t warn the people about coming trouble or tell them how dangerous it is to sin against me. Those prophets lie by claiming they speak for me, but I have not even chosen them to be my prophets. And they still think their words will come true. They say they’re preaching my messages, but they are full of lies—I did not speak to them!
So I am going to punish those lying prophets for deceiving the people of Israel with false messages. I will turn against them and no longer let them belong to my people. They will not be allowed to call themselves Israelites or even to set foot in Israel. Then they will realize that I am the Lord God.
Those prophets refuse to be honest. They tell my people there will be peace, even though there’s no peace to be found. They are like workers who think they can fix a shaky wall by covering it with paint. But when I send rainstorms, hailstones, and strong winds, the wall will surely collapse. People will then ask the workers why the paint didn’t hold it up.
That wall is the city of Jerusalem. And I, the Lord God, am so angry that I will send strong winds, rainstorms, and hailstones to destroy it. The lying prophets have tried to cover up the evil in Jerusalem, but I will tear down the city, all the way to its foundations. And when it collapses, those prophets will be killed, and everyone will know that I have done these things.
The city of Jerusalem and its lying prophets will feel my fierce anger. Then I will announce that the city has fallen and that the lying prophets are dead, because they promised my people peace, when there was no peace. I, the Lord God, have spoken.
Woe To The Women Who Wear Magic Charms Click To Tweet
The Lord said:
Ezekiel, son of man, now condemn the women of Israel who preach messages that come from their own imagination. Tell them they’re doomed! They wear magic charms on their wrists and scarves on their heads, then trick others into believing they can predict the future. They won’t get away with telling those lies. They charge my people a few handfuls of barley and a couple pieces of bread, and then give messages that are insulting to me. They use lies to sentence the innocent to death and to help the guilty go free. And my people believe them!
I hate the magic charms they use to trick people into believing their lies. I will rip those charms from their wrists and set free the people they have trapped like birds. I will tear the scarves from their heads and rescue my people from their power once and for all. Then they will know that I am the Lord God.
They do things I would never do. They lie to good people and encourage them to do wrong, and they convince the wicked to keep sinning and ruin their lives. I will no longer let these women give false messages and use magic, and I will free my people from their control. Then they will know that I, the Lord, have done these things.
The Spirit of Divination and Python
The spirit of divination is also called the spirit of python. Pythons are known for killing its prey by constriction. Pythons suffocate their prey, squeezing the prey’s ribs so that it cannot breathe. This spirit comes to squeeze the breath of the Holy Spirit out of you. This spirit operates the same way in which The Spirit of Leviathan works.
One day, as we were going to the house of prayer, we encountered a young slave girl who had an evil spirit of divination, the spirit of Python. She had earned great profits for her owners by being a fortune-teller.
She kept following us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Great High God, and they’re telling us how to be saved!”
Day after day she continued to do this, until Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit indwelling her, “I command you in the name of Jesus, the Anointed One, to come out of her, now!” At that very moment, the spirit came out of her!
When her owners realized that their potential of making profit had vanished, they forcefully seized Paul and Silas and dragged them off to the city square to face the authorities.
When they appeared before the Roman soldiers and magistrates, the slave owners leveled accusations against them, saying, “These Jews are troublemakers. They’re throwing our city into confusion. They’re pushing their Jewish religion down our throats. It’s wrong and unlawful for them to promote these Jewish ways, for we are Romans living in a Roman colony.”
A great crowd gathered, and all the people joined in to come against them. The Roman officials ordered that Paul and Silas be stripped of their garments and beaten with rods on their bare backs.
Miracles Can Come Out of Painful Places
After they were severely beaten, they were thrown into prison and the jailer was commanded to guard them securely. So the jailer placed them in the innermost cell of the prison and had their feet bound and chained.
Paul and Silas, undaunted, prayed in the middle of the night and sang songs of praise to God, while all the other prisoners listened to their worship.
Suddenly, a great earthquake shook the foundations of the prison. All at once every prison door flung open and the chains of all the prisoners came loose.
Startled, the jailer awoke and saw every cell door standing open. Assuming that all the prisoners had escaped, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself when Paul shouted in the darkness, “Stop! Don’t hurt yourself. We’re all still here.”
The jailer called for a light. When he saw that they were still in their cells, he rushed in and fell trembling at their feet. Then he led Paul and Silas outside and asked, “What must I do to be saved?”
They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved—you and all your family. ”Then they prophesied the word of the Lord over him and all his family. Even though the hour was late, he washed their wounds. Then he and all his family were baptized. He took Paul and Silas into his home and set them at his table and fed them. The jailer and all his family were filled with joy in their newfound faith in God.
At daybreak, the magistrates sent officers to the prison with orders to tell the jailer, “Let those two men go.” The jailer informed Paul and Silas, “The magistrates have sent orders to release you. So you’re free to go now.”
But Paul told the officers, “Look, they had us beaten in public, without a fair trial—and we are Roman citizens. Do you think we’re just going to quietly walk away after they threw us in prison and violated all of our rights? Absolutely not! You go back and tell the magistrates that they need to come down here themselves and escort us out!”
When the officers went back and reported what Paul and Silas had told them, the magistrates were frightened, especially upon hearing that they had beaten two Roman citizens without due process. So they went to the prison and apologized to Paul and Silas, begging them repeatedly, saying, “Please leave our city.”
So Paul and Silas left the prison and went back to Lydia’s house, where they met with the believers and comforted and encouraged them before departing.
The Year of Release and Revealing
There has been a veil of deception over the heads of many of God’s people. Whenever you follow after any man and lift him up as an idol whether it be a president, a prophet a priest or anyone, you will fall into deception. Many in the body followed after these false prophets and prophetess who was following after a man and not God. This was allowed to happen to examine the hearts of the church.
Again 2021 is the year of release. God is ripping off the veils and exposing these false prophetess for who they really are. In the name of Jesus your spells are broken and your power over the lives of God’s people is over. The Lord of Host is coming after the false prophets, prophetess, witches and warlocks!
For years they have turned people away from following the Lord, the scriptures say they are not entering the Kingdom and they prevent others from entering as well. The Lord is coming after you!
What has happened is that many of the prophets and prophetess were true prophets of the Lord but they went astray and left the faith. They went a whoring after other gods, divining and selling themselves for money. They have lied to God’s people and have not preached the gospel. I pray that if you have been called to the office of the prophet and have went astray that you quickly repent and turn from your wicked ways. Ask the Lord to forgive you and restore you. Wash your hands clean and purify your heart because the day of he Lord is at hand
