Royal Girlz Ministry would like to extend a blessed and Happy Purim to our friends and family. Today is a day to reflect and celebrate our God and He delivered His children from their enemies. I always love this particular Jewish celebration because it reminds us that God is faithful to His promises and He is our divine deliverer.

God is still delivering His people today. Let’s celebrate our faithful and loving Heavenly Father as we remember and reflect on the Book of Esther. Purim 2024 begins on the evening of Saturday March 23, 2024 at 6:00PM and ends on the evening of Sunday March 24, 2024 at 6:00PM

What Is Purim

Purim Jewish Holiday is a celebration that commemorates the deliverance of the Jewish people in the ancient Persian empire. Purim is celebrated 30 days before Passover; every year on the 14th of the Hebrew month of Adar which occurs in late winter/early spring. The celebration of Purim commemorates the deliverance of the Jewish people. In ancient Persia, Haman plotted to kill and destroy all the Jewish people in a single day. This story of deliverance is told in the Book of Esther.

People often give lavishly wrapped baskets of food to friends and money or food to those in need or charitable organizations. The main beverage is wine and people may drink large amounts during the festive meal. Some people fast for one or more days before or after Purim.

Public parades and puppet show performances illustrating the Book of Esther are held in Israel. These are also held in some areas in the United States among a large Jewish population.

Happy Purim

Esther 9:22
They were to celebrate those days because on those days the Jews got rid of their enemies. And they were also to celebrate that month as the month when their sadness was turned into joy. It was a month when their crying was changed into a day of celebration. Mordecai wrote letters to all the Jews and told them to celebrate those days as a happy day of feasting. They should have parties, give gifts to each other, and give presents to the poor.
