God Forbids Witchcraft
Many Christian have been tricked into believing that witches and the practice of witchcraft is not real. Witches, magicians, sorcerers and fortune tellers are all real. If it were not so, God would not have told us in the Book of Deuteronomy to not practice these things. The source of these practices come from Satan and demonic spirits. God forbids witchcraft, magic, sorcery, fortunetelling and anything dealing with the occult.
As believers we must put our trust in the Father, His Son Jesus Christ and in His Holy Spirit. The scriptures tell us that when the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own but he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is to come.
Jesus Is The Only Way
As believers, the only truth and light we seek comes from Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only way and truth that will lead you to eternal life with The Father. Any other source comes from the father of lies, which is the devil. If you have participated in any of these occult practices of witchcraft and divination that the word of God forbids, you can repent and ask God to forgive you and wash you clean. Seek salvation that you may be healed, delivered and set free in the mighty name of Jesus.
Deuteronomy 18:10-13
Don’t sacrifice your sons or daughters in the fires on your altars. Do not try to learn what will happen in the future by talking to a fortuneteller or by going to a magician, a witch, or a sorcerer. Don’t let anyone try to put magic spells on other people or let any of your people become a medium or a wizard. And no one should try to talk with someone who has died.Â
The Lord hates anyone who does these things. And because these other nations do these terrible things, the Lord your God will force them out of the land as you enter it. You must be faithful to the Lord your God, never doing anything he considers wrong.
