Children’s Ministry and Prayers
Children’s ministry and prayers are vitally important. As parents and guardians it is our responsibility to train up our children in the teachings of Christ and lead them to salvation early in life.
Jesus loves and welcomes children. He told His followers to not stop them from coming to Him. Children have such a pure heart and faith that God loves and honors. We are even told that unless we accept God’s kingdom such as a child does, then we ourselves will not enter in.
Jesus Welcomes Children
Some people brought their small children to Jesus so that he could lay his hands on them to bless them. But when the followers saw this, they told the people not to do this. But Jesus called the little children to him and said to his followers, “Let the little children come to me. Don’t stop them, because God’s kingdom belongs to people who are like these little children. The truth is, you must accept God’s kingdom like a little child accepts things, or you will never enter it.”
