A Back To School Prayer For 2021 Students
Although the school year has already began, I wanted to share our updated back to school prayer for 2021 – 2022. Every year our ministry dedicates September as children’s month. Our prayer from last year was on the website, but I felt it was important to update it and repost it again during this season. Always remember it is never too late to pray for your children, especially during the times that we are living in. We are in the season that the enemy especially targets our children and young people so it is vital that we keep them lifted up in prayer. We want to continue to pray for all those in the education field as we lift up our sons and daughters, teachers, administrators, workers, parents, grandparents, guardians and friends.
For the next few weeks and upcoming months, we will be sharing more posts and products for your children and grandchildren. Look for posts including gifts, educational products, children’s fashion, recommended children’s books, photo contest and we can’t forget about Jada’s Jewels. Jada has a lot she wants to share in the upcoming weeks with her Royal Girlz friends.
School As We Know It Has Changed
This school year is particularly different and school as we know it has changed. This year many parents around the country will have to make the decision to either send their child back to the classroom, elect for virtual learning/hybrid classes or consider homeschooling their children. Now more than ever, I think it’s important that we don’t neglect praying for our children and the schools as our children enter back into the classrooms and into this new way of learning.
The Coronavirus pandemic has forever changed the way we do school across our nation and possibly the world. Now we are faced with our little ones having to wear children’s face mask all day long to protect themselves from getting sick or possibly infecting others. For many parents this has become a time of uncertainty, stress and even fear as many are forced to send their children back into the classrooms. As some may like, many parents don’t have an option of staying at home because of job requirements and financial obligations.
Today, we pray a special prayer of provision and protection over the single parent and low income households. Father God we pray that you will meet every need even right now. As believers we can be certain that whether we elect to send them back in person or keep them at home, that God will be with our children. He promised that He will never leave us nor forsake us and on His word we can depend.
Prayer Changes Things
Before 2020, I was blessed to be in the position to where I could drop off and pick up my daughter from school. Every morning when we would get in the car we would sing “This Is The Day That The Lord Has Made…We Will Rejoice And Be Glad In It”. It became our morning time routine with just us and the Lord singing, laughing and praising God. After we sing this song we follow it up with a prayer before she gets out of the car. We would pray for her, her classmates, all the teachers, staff, administrators and workers.
Teach Your Children The Importance of Prayer
I think it’s so very important that we not only teach our children the importance of prayer, but demonstrate it to them on a daily basis. Never discredit children because they are young. Jesus welcomes children and reminds us as believers that we are to humble ourselves like children in order to enter into the Kingdom. Family prayer not only draws us closer to God but to one another as well.
Jesus Loves The Little Children
Matthew 18:2-4
Jesus called a little child to come to him. He stood the child in front of the followers. Then he said, “The truth is, you must change your thinking and become like little children. If you don’t do this, you will never enter God’s kingdom. The greatest person in God’s kingdom is the one who makes himself humble like this child.
A Mother’s Back To School Prayer
Father In The Name of Jesus,
We thank you today for our children. Your Word says that children are a gift from you and a reward from the mother’s womb. We give you all the glory, honor and praise for the precious gifts that you have placed in our care. Lord, as we send up these prayers for our children, we first want to come to You and ask you to forgive us for any sin or unforgiveness in our lives that may block our prayers for our children.
Forgive us Lord and wash us clean. Teach us how to be good parents, grandparents and guardians to our children and future generation. We pray for restoration of families as it is according to Your Holy Word.
A Prayer For Our Daycare Babies
Father, we come to You today thanking you for the opportunity to pray for our children and grandchildren because it is a privilege and honor. We ask that You will cover and protect our children as they enter into a new school year. We pray for our little preschoolers and kindergartners. Father give them peace as they are away from their parents. Wrap Your loving arms around them so they will feel safe and secure while they are away from their parents.
Touch the bodies of all our children Lord. Bless them from the crowns of their head to the soles of their feet. Lord cover them from every childhood disease, cold, flu and infection. Keep them safe and protected from all sickness, allergies, plagues and infirmity.
Touch the hearts of those who are caring for them and give them Your love for the children. May they handle the children with wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Thank you heavenly Father for sending your angels to watch over our precious babies and children.
Pray Protection For Our Children
We pray for our elementary, middle school, high school and college students. Touch the minds and hearts of the children today and cover them from all hurt, harm and danger. Today, we come against the Spirit of Death. We pray against the spirit of suicide and murder that tries to attack the minds of our children.
As we speak life into each and every school across our nation., we declare and decree that the enemy will not have his way. We claim back our schools for God and the lives of our children.
The United States of America may have taken prayer out the schools, but we yet have a prayer in our hearts and on our tongues! Lord, You are a shield of protection over our children as they go on their path. We pray that You will send forth Your warring angels to the four corners of every school and home to protect and war on behalf of our children.
Protect The Minds of Our Children
Father, give our children your wisdom knowledge and understanding, make learning easy for them. Cover their minds against worldly ideas and beliefs. Help them Lord to have a biblical worldview and to not embrace secularism and the things of this world. Help them to keep their focus on you and not be distracted by anyone or anything that will lead them off the course or path of righteousness.
Lord, we ask You to heal the hearts of the children that are hurting, abused, mistreated and neglected. We pray against drugs, alcohol, substance abuse, cutting, divination, homosexuality, bullying, suicide and murder. We speak the love of God, power and sound minds into the atmosphere of every home and school system across our great nation.
Back To School Prayer Blessing
As they go back and forth to school, we pray their protection over the roads. Keep your angels encamped all around their vehicles and protect them from accidents. We bind all accidents and loose God’s protection and angels to keep us from all hidden danger. Bless the parents and give them both your peace and wisdom on what is best for their child. Cover the children, teachers, administrators, staff, workers and volunteers whether they are in the classrooms or learning virtually. Lord let Your peace that surpasses all understand cover each and every school like a blanket.
We pray that you will bless the day care providers, the teachers and college professors that instruct or children daily. Give them strength in their bodies and minds Father and give them what to say to our children. Give them your heart for children. Cover their homes and meet every need. Protect them from all forms of sickness and keep them in good health. Father, I pray that parents will rededicate themselves, their families and households over to You Lord as you are restoring the family unit. Father, we thank you for both hearing and answering our prayers in your son Jesus mighty name,
Thank you Heavenly Father, AMEN!
