The Lord God speaks to us and reveals Himself to us in many different ways. One of the was He does this is through signs in the heavenlies. One of the signs of Christ soon return will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. Blood moons in the year of 2014 – 2015 is one of the signs that the Bible speaks of. As we see these signs in the heavenlies, the Lord is preparing us for His soon return. We can find proof of these signs in the Book of Luke.
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Lights In The Sky
God created the sun, moon and stars as lights in the sky to not only separate the day from night but to also show the days and years and when special meetings were to happen. These lights were created by God on the fourth day of creation.

Then God said, “Let there be lights in the sky. These lights will separate the days from the nights. They will be used for signs to show when special meetings begin and to show the days and years.

The Israelites use the sun and moon to decide when the months and years began. Many Israelite festivals and special meetings (divine appointments & appointed feasts) began at the time of the new moon or full moon.

What Are Lunar Eclipses?
Lunar eclipses occur when the Earth’s shadow blocks the sun’s light, which otherwise reflects off the moon. The moon passes directly behind the Earth as the Sun, Earth and moon are in alignment. A lunar eclipse can only occur when there is a full moon. There are three types of eclipses.
There is total, partial and penumbral. The most dramatic of these eclipses is the total lunar eclipse, also called a blood moon in which Earth’s shadow completely covers the moon.
The next Lunar Eclipse will occur on October 8th, 2014. This year between April 2014 – 2015.
A blood moon tetrad has landed on biblical feast days only 8 times in the last 2,000 years.
There will be blood, fire, and thick smoke.
The sun will be changed into darkness, and the moon will be as red as blood.
Then the great and fearful day of the Lord will come!
WHAT IS A SUPER MOON?
September 28, 2015 the moon will be the closest to the Earth in the whole year creating a SUPER BLOOD MOON! This moon will be seen in Jerusalem, on the Feast of Tabernacles and in a Shemitah Year!
Year of the Shemitah | America’s Warning
The Shemitah year is the 7th year in which the land has to rest and could not be tilled. According to the scriptures in Leviticus, this is the time to rest and honor the Lord. Just as we do on the seventh day of each week. We do no work, we rest and honor the Lord on the Sabbath.
A Time of Rest For The Land
The Lord spoke to Moses at Mount Sinai. He said, “Tell the Israelites: When you enter the land that I am giving to you, you must let the land have a special time of rest. This will be a special time of rest to honor the Lord. You will plant seed in your field for six years. You will trim your vineyards for six years and bring in its fruits. But during the seventh year, you will let the land rest. This will be a special time of rest to honor the Lord.
You must not plant seed in your field or trim your vineyards. You must not cut the crops that grow by themselves after your harvest. And you must not gather the grapes from your vines that are not trimmed. The land will have a year of rest.
“The land will have a year of rest, but you will still have enough food. There will be enough food for your men and women servants. There will be food for your hired workers and for the foreigners living in your country. And there will be enough food for your cattle and other animals to eat.
The sun will be changed into darkness,
and the moon will be as red as blood.
Then the great and fearful day of the Lord will come!

The skies announce what his hands have made.

and each night reveals more and more about God’s power.

The sun’s tent is set up in the heavens.
Daniel 7:25
This special king will say things against God Most High, and he will hurt and kill God’s special people. That king will try to change the times and laws that have already been set. God’s holy people will be under that king’s power for three and one-half years.

Then I watched while the Lamb opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake, and the sun became as black as sackcloth. The full moon became red like blood.
